Tola. is an Atlanta native with Nigerian heritage. Music has always been his passion but with Nigerian parents comes Nigerian customs; passions often gets dismissed and replaced with education. So, while trying to juggle an underground music career he messed around and graduated from both UGA and GT. With plenty of false starts under his belt he is finally ready to entirely focus on musical success. Also, as of 2019 he decided to truly embrace his commitment towards his musical endeavors by shedding his stage name and opting to go by his given name, Tola. A move made to directly reflect his direction of intent and honest; nowhere to hide.

Tola. describes his music as a blend of lyrics, experimentation, and melody. He has made it a point to hone down on a persona and overall message. So, while sounds may vary, he is guaranteed to always be saying something of value (even when he’s having fun).  Production is mainly handled by his blood brother Paul Ay who also doubles as his engineer as well.  Together the two plan on changing the world, starting with the music industry.

Aside from music, Tola. enjoys being as creative as he possibly can. He is a songwriter, a poet who writes screenplays, skits, scripts, and all of the treatments for his own videos.
